Service was rerouted east alongside Boston Road and 174th Street to finish at Parkchester, and repair rerouted via Edward L. Grant Highway west of 170th Street. Authentic western terminus was at Andrews Avenue-West 175th Street. Authentic north-japanese terminus was at Mundy Lane-Pitman Avenue (at NYC-Mount Vernon line). Service originally ran with the Bx1 at Sedgwick Avenue and Heath Avenue until June 1996, when it was rerouted to serve Bailey Avenue.
