All of this talk about pricing led me to spending a lot of time thinking about how entrepreneurs, especially service based entrepreneurs, price their services. Here are some of the biggest takeaways my clients (and I) had as a result of our conversations this week.

If you price your book at $0.99, you'll need to sell ten e-books to equal if you had priced it at $9.99. Possibly, the lower price will make your book attractive enough that you can sell ten times as many books, as if you had left the price at $9.99. If you can sell ten books at $0.99, wouldn't you be better off because now you have ten readers more likely to read your future books so you can price those higher?

Count in the reward program. Some dealers will give you reward points and allow you to redeem them after certain time. Coin club even give $5 worth silver for every $100 dollars spend on their store.

If he is going to charge you for the pick up he is getting paid twice for the one job. Nice for the towing business but not practical for the 2008 town and country owner.

Try to buy at mint first. It's very unlikely that you can buy coin or set at below issue price. If it's still available at mint, you are lucky to buy at issue price. In Australia, this means Royal Australia Mintor Perth Mint.

It is a bit easier with formula-fed babies when it comes to the question - how much should a newborn eat? At least you can see the exact amount of food your baby have eaten and how much you are about to give him/her.

Once you've completed this step, it's really just a matter of playing with the numbers and increasing the numbers to see how much extra bandwidth would cost you. Increase the number of users that you received from your analytics; and enter the size of the new content you'll be using. Then you'll need to add the number that was on the calculator to the amount of bandwidth usage you had before adding any more. Using the amount of page views you currently have, divide that into the number of user page views. Once you have that number, that's the amount of bandwidth that you're going to need. Then all you have to do is contact your web host and ask them how much it would cost to add that additional bandwidth.

Private sales are the trickiest but likely to net you the most money. However, you will need to be willing to advertise, set up appointments, have people come and inspect and test drive the vehicle, and transfer the title yourself. Having certain maintenance reports and other details on hand may also be necessary in order to successfully sell the car.
