Children enjoy watching seeds germinate. This is especially the case when seeds sprout quickly. Alfalfa is an easy-to-grow seed that should be sprouting within one week. To watch the seeds germinate, sprinkle a few alfalfa seeds over a piece of damp paper towel.

What you'll need:
The packet contains Alfalfa seeds (about 1.5g).
A small dish or saucer
Three paper towels
A spray mister or small water container

Set 3 sheets of paper towel on a dish.
Drain the water from the plate. The paper towel needs to be dampened, بذور برسيم حجازي للبيع but the seeds shouldn't sit in the water.
Sprinkle the seeds evenly on the towel.
Put the paper towel on a sunny window and add water to prevent the paper towel from drying out. You can use a mister or spray bottle to moisten the seeds or simply add a small amount of water to the saucer using either a small cup or jug.
Every day, be sure to check your seeds to see if they are developing.


Troubleshooting
Alfalfa seeds are easy to grow and should germinate within 2-6 days. Here are some issues to watch out for بذور برسيم حجازي للبيع should your seeds not sprout in this time.

Too dry Seeds require water in order to grow. Seeds of alfalfa absorb approximately 50% of their weight in water before they begin to germinate, making them appear swollen. If your seeds are too dry, they will not germinate. Incorporate more water into the plate to make sure that the seeds are moist, but not floating. You can also soak the seeds for a few hours; however, ensure that you drain and wash them in fresh water prior to spreading them on the towel.

Too wet:If the seeds are too wet their new shoots and roots could become rotten before they are able to grow. Also, it is possible that mould may begin to develop around the seeds. It's fine for the paper towel to get wet however the seeds should not be floating in water. Every time you mist or water seeds, remove any excess water.

Too cold or too hot: Alfalfa grows best when temperatures are between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius. If you're planting your seeds indoors in winter, set them in a warm location. It is possible that you will need to regularly water your seeds when they are grown in very hot temperatures. They'll dry quicker.
